High Speed Gear
The High Speed Gear Taco Double Pistol Magazine Pouch is a belt-mount tactical mag holder built for shooters who need fast, reliable access to spare pistol magazines. Whether you're running drills at the range, training for defensive scenarios, or gearing up for duty, this pouch delivers the speed and retention you need without the bulk of traditional mag carriers. High Speed Gear's Taco design is trusted by serious shooters—law enforcement, military, and civilians who can't afford slow reloads or mag loss.
The pouch holds two pistol magazines and mounts directly to your belt, keeping your reload stack close at hand and in a natural draw position. The open-top design—a Taco signature—lets you index magazines by feel and grab what you need in a fraction of a second. No snaps, no flaps, no fumbling. Black nylon construction means the pouch will survive hard use and rough conditions without wearing out or failing when you need it most.
High Speed Gear has spent decades refining magazine retention and quick-access geometry. This double-mag configuration is compact enough for everyday carry or competition, but substantial enough for serious training volume or backup rounds on a duty belt. If you've been carrying magazines loose in your pocket or using a pouch that slows you down, the Taco will feel like an upgrade the first time you draw.
The Taco Double holds pistol magazines. Compatibility varies by magazine size and brand; High Speed Gear designed this pouch for standard single-stack and double-stack pistol mags, but we recommend confirming fit with your specific magazine before purchase if you have an unusual or oversized variant.
The pouch is belt-mount compatible. It attaches directly to a belt via belt loops or straps—check the pouch hardware to confirm the exact mounting method and ensure your belt width matches the pouch design.
The Taco Double works for both. Its compact two-magazine design makes it practical for everyday carry, concealed carry rigs, or belt-worn competition setups. It's also popular for range training and duty use where quick mag access matters.
The Taco's open-top design prioritizes speed and ergonomics over full retention coverage. You get fast draws and tactile indexing without snaps or flaps. This trade-off appeals to shooters who train regularly and prioritize reload speed, but it requires proper belt placement to prevent accidental loss.
