High Speed Gear
The High Speed Gear Gen 2 Single Pistol TACO is a lightweight, modular magazine carrier built for shooters who demand reliable retention and versatile mounting. Whether you're running a duty belt, tactical rig, or plate carrier, this single-pistol-magazine pouch gives you a fast, secure way to carry a spare mag without bulk. The Gen 2 design sheds nearly 20% of the weight from the original while maintaining the same proven retention system that made the TACO line trusted across the shooting community.
Built from laser-cut nylon laminate layered over a woven thermoplastic core, the Gen 2 TACO strikes a balance between durability and weight savings. The contoured, molded sides guide magazines in smoothly and feature channels that keep the integrated shock cord tails in check. That shock cord provides user-adjustable retention—you control how tight the pouch grips your mag. Half-inch MOLLE spacing across the back means you can mount it directly to any MOLLE-compatible gear or thread it onto a standard belt using the included High Speed Gear clip.
One of the Gen 2's smartest features is its adaptability. Leave it open-top for speed, or add an HSG OTR Cover accessory to run it fully enclosed. That flexibility makes the TACO a one-pouch solution that scales with your mission, whether you're at the range, on a hunt, or geared up for defensive carry. Not the flashiest piece of kit, but it's the kind of solid, no-nonsense equipment that earns a permanent spot on serious shooters' rigs.
