High Speed Gear
The High Speed Gear Gen 2 Extended Pistol/SMG TACO is a lightweight, modular magazine carrier built for shooters who demand durability without the weight penalty. Whether you're running a duty belt, tactical vest, or competition loadout, this single-magazine pouch secures a long pistol or SMG magazine—or other similarly sized gear like a baton or flashlight—with proven retention and easy access.
High Speed Gear engineered the Gen 2 TACO to outperform its predecessor without sacrifice. The construction uses laser-cut nylon laminate over a woven thermoplastic core, a combination that sheds roughly 20% of the original's weight while maintaining the structural integrity that separates premium gear from budget carriers. Contoured, molded sides guide magazines in smoothly and feature integrated shock cord with adjustable retention to keep your round counts exactly where you need them.
Mounting flexibility is baked in: 1/2-inch MOLLE spacing on the back lets you attach the TACO to any MOLLE-equipped rig or thread it directly onto a belt using the included HSG clips. The modular design means you can run it open-top or closed—add an HSG OTR Cover accessory if you want that extra layer of retention and coverage. At its core, the Gen 2 Extended Pistol TACO is purpose-built for operators, competitors, and serious shooters who value weight savings without compromises.
