The Heritage Manufacturing Rough Rider .22LR/.22 Magnum revolver is a single-action rimfire built for backyard plinking, pest control, and affordable trigger time. This 6.5" barrel model delivers classic single-action handling in an easy-shooting package that won't break the bank. Whether you're knocking down tin cans, working varmints around the property, or just enjoying low-recoil practice, the Rough Rider gives you genuine revolver mechanics in .22 LR caliber without the price tag of centerfire alternatives.
Built on an alloy steel frame with a black satin finish, the Rough Rider feels substantial in hand while staying lightweight enough for extended shooting sessions. The fixed front sight and notch rear sight provide a straightforward sight picture that's easy to use and reliable. The 6-round cylinder, combined with the smooth single-action trigger, makes this revolver genuinely fun to shoot—there's a reason single-actions have remained popular for over a century. Polymer grips with a star pattern offer a secure, comfortable hold, and the manual safety adds an extra layer of control.
One of the standout features of this model is the inclusion of two interchangeable cylinders: you get one set up for .22 LR, allowing you to swap in a .22 Magnum cylinder (sold separately) whenever you want to step up power for hunting or longer-range work. That flexibility makes the Rough Rider an excellent value for anyone who wants to explore both cartridges without owning two guns. At just under 36 ounces unloaded, it's light enough to carry or handle all day, yet balanced enough to shoot accurately.
If you're looking for a no-nonsense .22 revolver for fun, training, or utility work, the Heritage Rough Rider delivers genuine single-action performance at a price point that makes sense for sport shooters and working hunters alike.
