Henry Repeating Arms
The Henry Long Ranger Express .223 Remington lever action rifle brings classic American handling to a modern, efficient caliber. This 16.5" barreled rifle splits the difference between portability and velocity, making it a natural fit for shooters who want the smooth, fast action of a lever gun without the traditional limitations. Whether you're working across medium-game terrain, punching steel at the range, or hunting varmints, the Long Ranger Express delivers a genuinely useful platform that doesn't pretend to be something it isn't.
The hard anodized black receiver pairs with a blued steel barrel for a clean, functional finish that handles field use without fuss. The birch laminate stock provides solid durability and inherent stability, while the included black rubber recoil pad absorbs what little kick .223 generates—useful for all-day shooting comfort. At 7 pounds, this rifle carries easily without feeling featherweight or fragile, and the 5-round capacity keeps things honest for hunting applications.
Henry engineered this gun with modern shooters in mind: the included Picatinny rail lets you mount optics your way, the 5/8x24 threaded barrel accepts suppressors or brakes, and the transfer bar safety delivers reliable, intuitive operation. A hammer extension comes standard, improving your purchase on the trigger. The 1:9 twist rate stabilizes .223 loads across a wide bullet-weight range, and spare magazines are available if you need them—no proprietary nonsense.
This is a rifle that respects its roots but doesn't live in the past. If you value a lever action's ergonomics and speed but want a caliber suited to modern ammunition, optics, and accessories, the Long Ranger Express is worth serious consideration.
