Henry Repeating Arms
The Henry Golden Boy Silver is a .22 lever-action rifle that bridges classic American gunmaking with practical rimfire performance. If you grew up shooting a lever gun or you're introducing a new shooter to the sport, this rifle delivers the smooth, intuitive action and elegant lines that make lever guns timeless. Chambered in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle—so you can shoot whatever rimfire ammo you have on hand—the Golden Boy Silver handles small game, target shooting, and training with the kind of reliability that Henry has built its reputation on. At 6.75 pounds and 38.5 inches overall, it carries and handles like a rifle should, not like a toy, yet remains light enough for all-day use in the field or at the range.
What sets the Golden Boy Silver apart is its visual presence. The nickel-finished receiver and blued barrel create a two-tone contrast that looks as good in a gun cabinet as it shoots on the range. The American walnut furniture gives it genuine character—no plastic, no shortcuts. Hunters and shooters who value aesthetics alongside function appreciate that Henry didn't compromise here. The 20-inch barrel strikes a balance between sight radius and maneuverability, and the adjustable buckhorn rear sight with bead front gives you a classic sight picture that works without batteries or bullseye hunting.
With a magazine capacity of 16 Short, 21 Long, or 21 Long Rifle rounds, you get practical firepower for plinking sessions or small-game hunts. The lever action feeds reliably and cycles smooth—the hallmark of Henry's engineering. Whether you're a collector drawn to quality American rifles, a young shooter developing fundamentals, or a rifleman who simply loves the feel of a well-made .22, the Golden Boy Silver earns its place on your rack.
