Griffin Armament
The Griffin Armament DUAL-LOK EZ Brake is a lightweight muzzle brake engineered for .30 caliber rifles that use Griffin's DUAL-LOK suppressor interface. If you're running a DUAL-LOK 5, DUAL-LOK 7, HRT-556, or HRT-762 suppressor, this brake serves as your mounting platform while delivering straightforward recoil mitigation without the hassle of timing. Built from 17-4 PH stainless steel and finished in black nitride, it's built to handle the elements and stand up to repeated use at the range or in the field.
What makes the EZ Brake practical for working shooters is its simplicity and weight. At just 2.5 ounces, it's one of the lightest DUAL-LOK mounts available—that matters when you're trying to keep your rifle quick and balanced, especially on longer days afield. The three radial slots do the recoil-reduction work, and installation requires nothing more than a standard 13/16-inch socket wrench. No timing, no guessing, no frustration.
The tapered design and DUAL-LOK retention ring lock everything down solid, which means minimal point-of-impact shift between mounted and unmounted configurations. That repeatability is worth its weight when you're dialing in a hunting rig or a precision setup. If you're already invested in the DUAL-LOK ecosystem or considering it for suppressed .30 cal shooting, this brake is the straightforward, no-nonsense choice.

No. The EZ Brake requires no timing. You simply thread it on using a 13/16-inch socket wrench and lock it down. That simplicity is one of the main advantages over brakes that demand precise rotational alignment.
The EZ Brake weighs 2.5 ounces, making it one of the lightest DUAL-LOK mounts available. That lightweight design reduces overall suppressor system weight and helps keep your rifle barrel responsive and easier to handle in the field or at the bench.
The tapered design and DUAL-LOK retention ring are engineered to minimize and repeat POI shift. While no mount is perfect, this brake delivers the consistency you need for hunting or precision shooting where holdover matters.
