The Griffin Armament CAM-LOK QD piston for SilencerCo pistol suppressors offers a major upgrade over traditional direct-thread designs. If you've dealt with suppressors that loosen under firing, requiring constant retightening and risking baffle strikes, you know the frustration. This quick-detach piston system solves that problem by using a patented taper-lock interface that stays secure even as the piston cycles with the slide. The result: a suppressor that stays put, shoots clean, and lets you focus on the range instead of maintenance headaches.

Built from 17-4 stainless steel and heat-treated to H900 spec, this piston is engineered for durability and precision. The CAM-LOK system uses a wrench-tight installation—no hand-tightening nonsense—which means your suppressor won't work loose from the vibration and reciprocal motion of pistol firing. The three 120-degree mounting positions mean you can attach your suppressor quickly from any angle, with minimal risk of false starts. Griffin Armament holds the mating diameters and interfacing geometry to exacting tolerances, so each mounting position delivers consistent point-of-impact and minimal shift between positions.

This piston is compatible with any SilencerCo pistol suppressor (excluding Osprey models) when used with a CAM-LOK barrel adapter—sold separately—mounted to your host firearm. The universal design means you're not locked into one barrel thread pitch; swap adapters and mount the same suppressor to different pistols without breaking down the can. If you run multiple SilencerCo suppressors with CAM-LOK barrels, the piston interchangeability keeps your setup flexible and lets you cross-pair cans with adapters.

For serious pistol shooters and suppressor users who value reliability and speed, the CAM-LOK piston eliminates the daily annoyances of legacy direct-thread systems and delivers the secure, repeatable mounting that modern suppressors demand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this piston fit my SilencerCo suppressor?

This CAM-LOK piston is compatible with SilencerCo pistol suppressors—with the exception of the Osprey model. You'll also need a CAM-LOK barrel adapter (sold separately) mounted to your host firearm for the system to work.

What's included in this purchase?

This product is the piston only—the bronze-colored component that installs inside the suppressor. The barrel adapter, which mounts to your pistol's barrel, is sold separately.

How does the CAM-LOK piston prevent my suppressor from loosening?

Unlike direct-thread pistons that are hand-tightened and loosen from slide cycling vibration, the CAM-LOK uses a wrench-tight installation and an internal taper-lock surface that grips the barrel adapter even as the piston reciprocates during firing. This keeps the suppressor secure and eliminates the need for constant retightening and baffle-strike risk.

Can I use this piston on multiple pistols or suppressors?

Yes. The CAM-LOK piston is universal across any SilencerCo suppressor (except Osprey) and any host firearm equipped with a CAM-LOK barrel adapter. You can swap suppressors and adapters without changing the piston, making it flexible for shooters with multiple setups.
