The Global Ordnance Go Mag AK47 40-round steel magazine is built for shooters who rely on their AK platform rifle for serious duty or high-volume range sessions. Chambered in 7.62×39, this magazine holds twice the rounds of a standard 20-round feed, cutting down on reload frequency when you're working through drill strings or stocking up for field use. Steel construction gives you a magazine that won't crack under hard use, field drops, or temperature swings—it'll be feeding rounds long after polymer alternatives have given up.

The fully ribbed body adds rigidity across the entire magazine, which helps prevent deformation from gear pressure, transport, or stacking. That same steel build means these magazines stand up to long-term storage without degradation or reliability concerns. Global Ordnance has sourced and supplied proven equipment globally for years, and this magazine reflects that institutional knowledge: it's engineered to work, not to look flashy.

Whether you're setting up for a training class, competition shooting, or building a reliable magazine ecosystem for your AK, the Go Mag 40-round steel magazine delivers the capacity and durability that working shooters depend on. The black finish resists corrosion and blends with modern rifle setups.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this magazine work with my AK47 or AK platform rifle?

Yes—the Go Mag is designed for AK47 and standard AK platform rifles chambered in 7.62×39. It will feed and function in any AK variant that accepts standard 7.62×39 magazines.

Is a 40-round magazine reliable for serious shooting?

Steel construction and fully ribbed design keep the magazine rigid and prevent deformation that can cause feeding issues. This magazine is built for reliable service in high-round-count training, competition, and field use.

Can I store these magazines loaded for extended periods?

Yes. Steel magazines are excellent for long-term storage without the degradation or stress cracks that affect some polymer alternatives. The black finish also resists corrosion during storage.

What's the difference between a 40-round and standard 20-round AK magazine?

The Go Mag's 40-round capacity cuts your reload frequency in half during range sessions, training classes, or competition. You'll spend more time shooting and less time reloading, which improves efficiency and training value.
