The Glock 79008 is an OEM-spec spare slide for Glock 19 Gen3 pistols, built to the same exacting standards as the factory-original guns themselves. If you're running a modular setup, keeping a backup slide on hand, or building out a dedicated optics-ready configuration, this Glock 19 Gen3 optic ready slide delivers the reliability you expect from genuine Glock parts. The matte black finish is durable and low-glare, and the MOS (Modular Optics System) footprint lets you mount a modern red dot or other optic without gunsmithing.

This slide comes with assembled internals—firing pin, extractor, and all the internal hardware ready to go—plus a standard MOS cover plate to protect the optics cut when you're not running a sight. The front serrations give you purchase for press-checks and malfunction clearances. Keep in mind that the barrel, recoil spring assembly, and any MOS adapter plates are sold separately, so factor those into your build or upgrade plan.

Whether you're a competitive shooter, a concealed-carry enthusiast, or someone who simply wants a battle-tested spare, choosing genuine Glock parts means you're not compromising on fit, finish, or function. OEM components have a track record across millions of rounds downrange.
