Grey Ghost Gear
The Grey Ghost Precision AR-15 15" M-LOK handguard brings the same design philosophy that ships on GGP's MKII rifles to the AR platform builder market. If you're assembling or upgrading a rifle and want a dependable, no-frills rail that locks down tight and stays locked, this handguard delivers. It's machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with Type III Class 2 hard coat anodizing—the same material and protection you'll find in high-end build kits. At 15 inches, it gives you ample real estate for accessories without adding unnecessary bulk to your setup.
Installation is straightforward: the included non-proprietary barrel nut doesn't require timing, so you torque it to 65 ft-lbs, slide the handguard flush with your upper receiver, and secure it with the two provided fastening screws at 35 in-lbs. The design includes left and right index tabs to prevent any twisting during use—a small detail that matters when you're running hard. The full-length top rail features engraved T-markings for repeatable optic mounting, and M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions give you plenty of flexibility for lights, grips, and other attachments. Forward slots at 1 and 11 o'clock keep your options open if you're running a vertical fore-grip or scout-style light setup.
This rail works with all forged upper receivers and most billet uppers, making it a solid fit for the vast majority of AR builds. Grey Ghost doesn't overcomplicate things—no proprietary hardware, no special tools required beyond a standard armorer's wrench (not included). If you want a proven handguard design that won't let you down, this is worth your attention.
