Gforce Arms
The Gforce Arms GF9 Rapture sub-compact 9mm is a purpose-built carry gun that brings serious customization potential to a compact platform. If you're looking for a slim, lightweight daily carry pistol that doesn't sacrifice shootability or modularity, the Rapture deserves a close look. This American-made handgun packs a 12+1 capacity into a frame that measures just 6.6 inches long and 1.1 inches wide—small enough for appendix or waistband carry, compact enough to manage in tight spaces, yet still controllable for defensive use.
Right out of the box, the Rapture comes ready to work. Fiber optic sights (red front, green rear) give you a clear sight picture in variable light, and the slide is cut for Shield RMSc and RMR red dot footprints, so you can mount your preferred optic without gunsmithing. The 3.25-inch black steel barrel is designed for accuracy, and nickel steel slide with front and rear serrations makes for positive manipulation even with wet or gloved hands. The pink Cerakote polymer frame isn't just eye-catching—it's paired with aggressive stippling and a thumb rest to lock your grip in place and keep recoil manageable.
Where the Rapture really shines is customization. The gun ships with four interchangeable grip backstraps (0°, 2°, 4°, and 6° angles), so you can dial in the perfect grip angle for your hand. Beyond that, the platform supports aftermarket triggers, barrels, slides, and suppressor compatibility, meaning you can tailor the gun to your exact needs. It's also largely compatible with Glock 26 parts and accessories (magazines excepted), opening up a wealth of upgrades.
Weighing just 1.4 pounds empty, the Rapture is a genuinely packable carry gun. Whether you're building a primary carry setup, a backup gun, or a dedicated range tester, this sub-compact delivers the reliability and feature set you'd expect from a modern defensive handgun—without the generic feel.
