Geissele Automatics
A suppressor that's misaligned to the bore won't suppress effectively—and it can damage both your can and barrel. The Geissele Automatics 9mm Suppressor Alignment Gage is a precision gunsmithing tool designed to verify that your suppressor sits true to the barrel bore before you ever fire a shot. Because suppressors are typically much longer than the barrel and muzzle device they attach to, even tiny deviations at the mounting interface can compound into significant misalignment at the exit. This gage catches those problems before they become expensive ones.
Built from hardened steel, the Geissele SAG won't wear, burr, or pick up embedded particles when it slides through the suppressor bores—a critical durability feature when you're checking multiple cans or running repeated diagnostics. The gage is ground to 0.002" under nominal 9mm bore diameter, a size spec that Geissele found works reliably across the wide variation in actual barrel bore diameters and straightness you'll encounter in the real world. Its long length naturally guides alignment to the bore, so you don't need a knife-edge fit to get accurate results.
Whether you're a suppressor-focused shooter, a gunsmith, or someone who builds or maintains your own rigs, the Suppressor Alignment Gage takes the guesswork out of baffle strike risk and suppressor performance. It's a small investment that can save you from learning an expensive lesson downrange.
Suppressors are much longer than barrel and muzzle device interfaces, so small misalignment at the mounting point becomes large misalignment at the suppressor exit. The Geissele SAG lets you catch and correct alignment problems before they cause baffle strikes, performance loss, or damage to your suppressor.
The gage is ground to 0.002" under nominal 9mm bore diameter, a specification Geissele selected to work reliably across the natural variation in real-world barrel bores and straightness. The extended length of the gage also provides natural alignment guidance without requiring a tight fit.
Slide the gage through the suppressor bores to verify it tracks true to the barrel bore. Any gaps or resistance indicate misalignment that needs correction before the suppressor is mounted and fired.
Yes—the gage works with any 9mm suppressor to check alignment. You can also use it during the mounting or timing process to verify your work before you attach the can permanently.
