The Geissele Airborne Charging Handle (ACH) in Desert Dirt Color is a purpose-built AR charging handle designed for shooters who run optics mounted close to the upper receiver and need reliability in tight quarters. Born from mil-spec requests, this low-profile charging handle eliminates the snag hazard that full-size levers present when operating around gear, vegetation, or in confined spaces—without sacrificing the control you need when it matters.

The ACH's ambidextrous design and shortened levers give you secure, controllable operation from either side of the rifle. Geissele engineered the levers with concaved radius cuts in both vertical and horizontal planes, so your hand finds purchase naturally. Checkered surfaces across both lever sides bite through wet conditions and gloved hands, keeping your grip positive when environmental factors try to work against you. The machined 7075 T6 aluminum body, Type III hardcoat anodized in Desert Dirt Color, is built for duty-grade durability and pairs with virtually any AR platform.

An often-overlooked feature: the raised lip at the aft end of the handle redirects gas blow back away from your face—a real advantage if you're running a short-barreled rifle or suppressor. This detail demonstrates Geissele's attention to how guns actually perform in use, not just on paper.
