The Gbrs Group Second Best Sling (SBS) is a minimalist rifle sling built for shooters who refuse to compromise between function and weight savings. Designed by a team that understands working carbines, this sling strips away the bulk and unnecessary hardware typical of traditional slings while keeping everything you actually need. At just 2.7 ounces—about half the weight of conventional slings—it won't bog you down whether you're running drills at the range, hunting in rough terrain, or training with tactical gear.

The SBS gives you real customization without excess material. The 40-inch adjustable front lead end can be trimmed to your body length, and the 20-inch tail lets you dial in the exact fit and performance you want. The standout feature is the 16-inch neck pad: it's tapered at both ends to eliminate snag points when you're transitioning the carbine to your back, and wrapped in a four-way stretch Tweave that moves smoothly against your neck or kit without friction. The 4-inch pull tab comes with two removable center bar tacks—keep them for a traditional pull, or remove them to run a thumb loop instead.

Hardware is kept to a single Tri-Glide per end, reducing weight and complexity while maintaining solid adjustability. The sling supports both single and double-point attachment configurations with the correct hardware for each setup. This is a sling engineered by people who actually use them, not by a marketing department trying to add features you don't want. Quick-detach attachments are sold separately, letting you choose your own hardware to match your rifle setup.
