The Gbrs Group Lerna Mount Kit for the Trijicon MRO is purpose-built to solve a real problem: getting your optic sight line high enough to shoot naturally without obstruction from tactical gear, comms headsets, night vision, or protective equipment. At 2.91 inches of optical centerline height, the Lerna mount positions your MRO where it belongs—up and out of the way—so you can maintain an athletic, heads-up stance that keeps your spine vertical and your plates presented to the target. That's not marketing speak; it's the difference between fighting effectively under pressure and fighting around your own gear.

Built for professionals and serious operators, the Lerna mount is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Type 3 Class 2 hard coat anodize, with stainless steel and QPQ-treated hardware that shrugs off corrosion and hard use. The engineering here reflects Gbrs Group's background in tactical operations: every material choice and finish was made to work in austere conditions. At 4.3 ounces, it's substantial without being a burden on your rifle's handling. This kit includes everything you need to mount and secure your MRO, with long-reach tools designed to access the fasteners without fighting your setup.

If you're running night vision, a gas mask-ready helmet setup, or comms that would otherwise block a traditionally-mounted red dot, the Lerna eliminates that compromise. Higher optic mounts also allow faster target acquisition and better situational awareness by keeping your head in a natural position. Whether you're a tactical professional, a serious competitor, or a hunter who refuses to fight his equipment, this is a mount designed by people who understand the difference ergonomics make under stress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this mount work with my Trijicon MRO?

Yes. The Lerna Mount Kit is designed specifically for the Trijicon MRO and includes all necessary fasteners and tools for installation.

How much higher is the optic than standard MRO mounts?

The Lerna positions your MRO at a 2.91-inch optical centerline. We don't have the height of standard mounts in our specs, but Gbrs Group engineered this height specifically to clear tactical headgear, night vision, gas masks, and comms without requiring a cheek riser.

What tools do I need to install it?

The kit includes everything: a long-reach T10 key, a long-reach 3/32-inch hex key, and a 1/4-inch drive T25 bit. These long-reach tools are included because standard tools don't always fit once your optic and other gear are mounted.

Will this mount hold up in tough conditions?

Yes. The mount is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with military-specification Type 3 Class 2 hard anodize. All stainless steel hardware is treated with QPQ (Melonite) finish for corrosion resistance. It's built to the standard Gbrs Group uses for professional and tactical applications.
