Gamakatsu Hooks
The Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky Black Size 4/0 hook brings serious versatility to wacky rigging and drop-shot fishing. Built on Gamakatsu's time-tested Shiner hook platform, this three-pack gives you a weed guard and rigging flexibility that lets you fish heavy cover confidently. Whether you're working a soft plastic around submerged wood, vegetation, or rocky structure, or experimenting with innovative drop-shot presentations, these hooks are engineered to handle the demands of modern bass and panfish tactics.
What sets the Wicked Wacky apart is the hand-tied weed guard—a proven feature that reduces snags without compromising hook exposure and bite-through. The innovative hollow tube design hand-tied along the shank opens up drop-shot rigging options: thread your tag end through the tube, tie on your weight, and you've got a new way to present baits in the thickest cover. It's the kind of thoughtful detail that tells you Gamakatsu understands both traditional wacky rigging and the evolution of soft-plastic presentations.
The size 4/0 is a working hook that pairs well with a range of worm and creature profiles, from finesse baits to chunkier swimbaits. Three hooks per pack means you can rig multiple rods or have backups if one gets bent or lost to a sticky situation. Black finish helps the hook blend into darker water and reduces visibility around light-sensitive fish.
