Galco
The Galco Sto212R Stow-N-Go IWB holster is a right-hand inside-the-waistband carry solution built for shooters who want serious concealment without sacrificing draw speed. Designed to fit Kimber 1911 5" pistols, this natural steerhide holster combines proven leather craftsmanship with a low-profile footprint that tucks neatly inside your waistband for everyday carry. If you're running a full-size 1911 and need a reliable, minimal-printing IWB option that works in dress clothes or casual gear, the Stow-N-Go delivers the balance most traditional leather holster users are after.
Natural steerhide develops character and patina over time while maintaining the structural support your 1911 deserves. The right-hand orientation and IWB design keep your firearm close and concealable, whether you're at the range, in the field, or managing daily life. Galco's reputation for leather quality means you're investing in a holster that'll outlast most of your carry guns—proper leather holsters actually improve with use, and this one's no exception.
This is gear for folks who understand that concealed carry means your holster has to work as hard as you do. The Stow-N-Go line has earned its place in serious shooters' rotation precisely because it doesn't overcomplicate things: solid leather, sensible design, no gimmicks. If you've got a Kimber 1911 5" and you want a time-tested IWB carry solution, this one's worth considering.
| Model | Sto212R |
| Brand | Galco |
| Holster Type | Inside-the-Waistband (IWB) |
| Hand Orientation | Right Hand |
| Material | Natural Steerhide |
| Firearm Compatibility | Kimber 1911 5" |
Yes—the Sto212R is designed specifically for Kimber 1911 5" pistols in right-hand carry. Confirm your 1911 barrel length is 5" before ordering.
IWB holsters sit inside your waistband, tucking your firearm against your body for deeper concealment under clothing. OWB rigs sit outside the waistband and are typically faster to draw from but print more visibly. The Stow-N-Go's IWB design prioritizes concealment for everyday carry.
Steerhide is a traditional leather choice prized for its durability, comfort against the body, and ability to mold to your gun and body shape over time. It develops a patina and actually improves with proper use and care. It requires occasional conditioning to stay supple but rewards you with years of reliable service.
The Sto212R is configured for right-hand draw, meaning the holster is worn on the strong side (right hip) for right-handed shooters. If you need left-hand carry, you'll want a different model configured for your dominant side.
