The Galco SR46B Switchback is an outside-the-waistband leather holster built for shooters who carry mid-frame revolvers like the Ruger GP100 or Smith & Wesson K-frame with a 6" barrel. This is a working holster for folks who prioritize solid retention and reliable draw over concealment—it rides outside your belt where it belongs, giving you full access to your gun without wrestling with fabric or compromised grip purchase.
Galco's leather construction has earned respect in the holster world for durability and the kind of break-in that actually improves fit over time. The belt slide design keeps things straightforward: you're threading your belt through a loop, and you're ready to go. What sets the Switchback apart is the ambidextrous design—it's molded and rigged to work equally well for right-handers and left-handers, eliminating the guesswork on fit and carry position.
If you're running a GP100 or K-frame wheelgun for duty, sport, or serious field carry, an outside-the-waistband rig is the practical choice. Leather breaks in, molds to your gun, and stays put. The Switchback delivers that in a no-frills package that lets your revolver do the talking.
| Holster Type | Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) Belt Slide |
| Material | Black Leather |

Yes. The SR46B Switchback is molded and rigged for both right- and left-handed shooters, so it works equally well regardless of your dominant hand.
This holster is sized for Ruger GP100 and Smith & Wesson K-frame revolvers with 6" barrels. Confirm your exact model and barrel length before ordering.
An outside-the-waistband (OWB) belt slide holster rides on the outside of your belt, offering faster draw access and better comfort for all-day carry compared to inside-the-waistband designs. The belt slide attachment threads your belt through a loop for secure, adjustable positioning.
Galco's leather holsters naturally mold to your gun and body through regular use, creating a custom fit that typically improves retention and comfort as the leather breaks in.
