The Galco GA194 Great Alaskan is a tan leather shoulder holster built for hunters and backcountry shooters who need fast, secure access to medium-frame revolvers like the Ruger RedHawk and GP100. This is serious kit for serious terrain—designed to carry your wheelgun safely across rough country where a belt holster just won't cut it. The shoulder/torso rig distributes weight across your chest and back, keeping your hands free for hiking, glassing country, or managing a rifle. If you're heading into bear country, navigating dense brush, or simply want your revolver accessible while carrying a pack, the Great Alaskan puts it exactly where you need it.

Built from quality tan leather, this holster is constructed to take the punishment of field use. The right-hand design accommodates shooters up to a 54-inch chest, and the torso-style carry spreads the load in a way that works under jackets, vests, and pack harnesses. You get stability in rough terrain and the kind of carry security that comes from leather that's been tested in actual wilderness conditions, not just on a shooting range.

Whether you're a backcountry hunter, wilderness guide, or simply prefer the reliability and simplicity of a revolver in remote country, the Galco GA194 Great Alaskan puts your gun where you can reach it fast—without the bulk or complications of modern tactical rigs. This is old-school shoulder holster design refined for the modern outdoorsman.
