The Galco CM838B Combat Master is a right-hand OWB (outside-the-waistband) leather holster built for shooters who carry a Sig Sauer P365 or P365 SAS and want a no-nonsense, proven design. If you're looking for a belt slide holster that prioritizes accessibility and comfort for everyday carry or range sessions, this is the kind of holster that doesn't overthink the job—it just does it well. Galco's been making leather holsters since the 1990s, and the Combat Master line carries that reputation for straightforward, dependable carry gear.

A belt slide holster sits outside your pants and rides on your belt, giving you quick draw access without the bulk or complexity of a retention system. The black leather construction breaks in naturally over time and develops character while staying tough enough for daily use. Right-hand draw means your thumb and fingers meet the grip naturally as you draw—the standard choice for most shooters.

This holster works with both the compact P365 and the P365 SAS variant, so whether you're carrying the standard model or the Sig's slightly refined version, you're covered. The leather belt slide design works with standard belt widths and rides low and close, keeping your firearm where it belongs without printing or shifting around. Galco's fit is tight enough to retain your pistol securely but loose enough to holster and draw smoothly—no fighting with retention tabs or kydex snap.

If you shoot IDPA, run drills at the range, or carry daily and prefer leather over synthetic, the Combat Master delivers proven function at a fair cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this holster fit a Sig P365 SAS?

Yes—the CM838B is designed to fit both the standard Sig P365 and the P365 SAS.

What does OWB mean, and is it right for me?

OWB stands for outside-the-waistband. The holster rides on the outside of your pants, clipped to your belt. It's faster to draw from than IWB (inside-the-waistband) carry, requires no special pants, and works well for range sessions, sport shooting, or open carry. If you conceal carry, OWB typically prints more than IWB—so consider your clothing and comfort.

Is this a right-hand or left-hand holster?

This is a right-hand model, meaning the draw is optimized for right-handed shooters. The gun sits on your right side, and you draw with your right hand.

How does leather holster retention work?

The Galco Combat Master uses friction fit—the leather molding grips your pistol securely without external retention devices, snaps, or locks. You adjust retention by the tightness of the leather fit itself. Retention is positive but not so tight that drawing becomes a struggle.
