Galco
The Galco APO212R APO Strongside/Crossdraw OWB holster is a versatile leather carry option built for shooters who value flexibility in draw position. Molded for the Kimber 1911 5" and configured for right-hand draw, this tan steerhide holster bridges the gap between strongside hip carry and crossdraw, so you can adjust your carry style based on activity, clothing, or preference without switching rigs.
Galco's steerhide construction is time-tested leather that breaks in naturally, develops character, and lasts decades with proper care. The dual-position design appeals to hunters, sport shooters, and defensive carriers who want one holster that adapts to different situations—whether you're working from a sit-down position, accessing your firearm from a vehicle, or transitioning between strongside and crossdraw positioning throughout the day.
This is a no-nonsense, straightforward OWB holster that prioritizes function over flash. The tan color pairs with most outfits and carries discreetly under a jacket or shirt, while the steerhide won't crack or fade prematurely if you maintain it. Right-hand configuration ensures a natural draw sequence and efficient access whether you're at the range, in the field, or on duty.

Yes. The APO212R is designed to accommodate both strongside hip carry and crossdraw positioning, giving you flexibility to adjust based on your activity or preference.
This is an OWB (outside-the-waistband) holster, which typically sits outside the pants and is most effective for open carry or concealment under an outer layer like a jacket or shirt. If you prefer inside-the-waistband carry, you'll want to explore IWB options.
Steerhide is durable leather that improves with age and proper maintenance. Clean it occasionally and apply quality leather conditioner to keep it supple and extend its lifespan.
