The G-Force GFY1 Bullpup 12ga semi-auto shotgun is a purpose-built home-defense and tactical platform that trades conventional ergonomics for serious firepower in a compact footprint. At 28.5 inches overall with an 18.5-inch barrel, this magazine-fed bullpup delivers full 12-gauge performance in a profile that handles tight spaces—think home hallways, vehicle interiors, or close-quarters training scenarios. The American Flag Edition pairs a no-compromise fighting shotgun with distinctive patriotic Cerakote, so you're not just armed; you're making a statement.

Built on a gas-operated system for reliable cycling across target loads, the GFY1 weighs just 8 pounds and balances quickly despite its compact length. The threaded barrel accepts aftermarket chokes and muzzle devices, giving you flexibility to tune spread and recoil to your preference. Integrated Picatinny rails on top and bottom mount optics, lights, and tactical accessories without gunsmithing. The flip-up front and rear sights get you running immediately, then get out of the way once you've dialed in your preferred optic setup.

The bullpup layout puts your hands and controls naturally into a tactical grip zone, and the AR-pattern magazine feed—rather than tube loading—speeds reloads and simplifies logistics on the range or in a duty role. This is a shotgun for shooters who value modularity, ammunition flexibility, and the raw stopping power of 12-gauge without the footprint penalty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What choke comes installed on the GFY1, and can I swap it?

The GFY1 ships with a MOD choke. Yes, the barrel is threaded, so you can swap chokes to adjust your pattern density and range—MOD for general-purpose work, Full for tighter patterns downrange, or Improved Cylinder for faster spread at close range.

Is the G-Force GFY1 bullpup suitable for home defense?

Yes. The compact 28.5-inch length makes it easier to maneuver through doorways and around furniture than a traditional 18.5-inch pump or semi-auto shotgun. The flip-up sights and Picatinny rails let you quickly mount a light and optic for low-light engagement, and the semi-auto action helps manage recoil during rapid follow-up shots.

What magazines does this shotgun use?

The GFY1 is compatible with AR-pattern magazines. This magazine-fed design speeds reloads and simplifies ammunition logistics compared to tube-fed shotguns.

Can I mount a red dot or tactical light on the GFY1?

Yes. The Picatinny rails on both the top and bottom of the receiver accommodate any standard Picatinny-mounted optic, red dot sight, or tactical light. This lets you customize the platform to your specific role—range work, home defense, or tactical training.
