Frankford Arsenal
If you reload, you know the tedium of separating stainless steel media pins from cleaned brass cases—it's the part of the job that turns a satisfying afternoon at the bench into hand-cramping frustration. The Frankford Arsenal Media Transfer Magnet solves that with a simple, effective design: a magnet that gathers your pins quickly, then releases them cleanly when you pull the handle, leaving your cases ready to move to the next step. It's the kind of small tool that saves hours over a reloading season and costs a fraction of what you'd spend on your time alone.
Stainless steel media is excellent for case prep—it cleans brass thoroughly without the mess of walnut or corn cob—but separation has always been the catch. This magnet was built specifically for that job. Instead of tweezers, picking pins out one by one, or dumping everything into a colander and hoping, you've got a tool that actually works the way reloaders need it to work. Drop your media and cases in, run the magnet through, pull the handle, and the pins release into a catch while your brass stays behind.
It's affordable enough to not feel like a luxury, durable enough to outlast years of regular use, and designed by people who actually reload and understand the workflow. If you're running a serious reloading operation or even a modest one where efficiency matters, this magnet earns its spot on your bench.
The Frankford Arsenal Media Transfer Magnet is designed to separate stainless steel media pins from brass cases. It works with standard stainless steel pin media used in vibrating case cleaners.
The magnet gathers the stainless steel pins as you move it through your media and brass mix. When you pull the handle, it releases the pins cleanly, allowing you to separate them from your cases without dumping everything or sorting by hand.
This tool is specifically designed for stainless steel pin media. It is not recommended for use with corn cob, walnut, or other non-ferrous media types.
The magnet is designed to gather and release media without contacting your brass cases during normal use. Handle it as you would any reloading tool to avoid unnecessary contact with finished cases.
