The Fortis Shift Carbon Fiber Handstop in OD Green is a lightweight, ergonomic support accessory designed for shooters who want better control and stability on the rifle. Built from carbon fiber, this handstop reduces weight compared to aluminum alternatives while maintaining the durability needed for serious shooting. Whether you're running a precision build, a competition rifle, or a working gun, a quality handstop improves consistency by giving your support hand a positive, repeatable reference point on the foregrip.
Fortis Manufacturing engineered the Shift to integrate seamlessly with modern AR platforms and handguard systems. The OD Green finish matches standard military color schemes and pairs well with most contemporary builds. Carbon fiber construction means you get a rigid platform without unnecessary heft—useful whether you're shooting at distance, working through drills at the range, or fielding a rifle that sees extended use. The ergonomic design encourages proper hand placement and reduces fatigue during long shooting sessions.
This is the kind of detail that separates a purpose-built rifle from a generic setup. A handstop anchors your grip, tightens your groups, and makes shooting more intuitive. Fortis has built a solid reputation for precision and attention to fit, and the Shift carries that standard in its class.
A handstop gives your support hand a consistent contact point on the foregrip, improving control and shot-to-shot consistency. It encourages proper hand placement, reduces fatigue during extended shooting, and is especially useful for precision, competition, and long-range work.
The Fortis Shift is designed to integrate with modern AR handguard systems. Verify compatibility with your specific handguard before purchase, as fit depends on rail type and geometry.
Carbon fiber is significantly lighter than aluminum while maintaining rigidity, though the exact weight savings depend on design and thickness. If weight savings are a priority for your build, carbon fiber is the right material choice.
