Forster
The Forster Products Bushing Full Length Sizing Die with Bench Rest Ultra Micrometer Seater is built for reloaders who demand consistency shot to shot. This precision rifle die system gives you independent control over neck sizing tension while simultaneously sizing the body and bumping the shoulder — a combination that separates match-grade reloading from guesswork. Whether you're handloading for competition, hunting, or precision rifle work, this die lets you dial in exactly how much working your brass receives, which directly impacts both accuracy and case longevity.
The key to this die's precision is the bushing system. Rather than relying on a fixed neck dimension, the included bushings let you choose the amount of neck clearance for your fired brass. This approach minimizes unnecessary case working, which means your brass lasts longer and performs more consistently. The body and shoulder sizing happen in the same stroke, keeping your setup streamlined while the micrometer seater ensures your bullet seating depth is repeatable to within fractions of a thou.
If you're serious about handload accuracy — whether you're chasing tight groups at the range or building ammo for hunting — this die rewards attention to detail. It's the kind of tool that separates shooters who load ammo from those who craft it. The included bushings get you started; over time, you can expand your bushing collection to fine-tune neck tension for different powders, primers, or barrel conditions.
| Product Name | Forster Bushing Full Length Sizing Die Bench Rest Ultra Micrometer Seater |
| Brand | Forster Products |
| Die Type | Bushing Full Length Sizing / Micrometer Seater Combination |
| Included Components | Bushing Full Length Sizing Die, Bench Rest Ultra Micrometer Seater, 3 bushings |
| Category | Rifle Reloading Dies |
The die comes with 3 bushings that fit inside the neck sizing portion of the die. Each bushing has a different inside diameter, allowing you to select how much neck clearance — and therefore how much working — your fired brass receives. This gives you control over sizing tension without having to use different dies.
The facts provided do not specify which caliber this die is chambered for. Please refer to the product model number (UFB4271) on the Forster website or contact our team to confirm compatibility with your cartridge.
The Bench Rest Ultra Micrometer Seater incorporates a precision micrometer adjustment that lets you set and repeat bullet seating depth to very fine tolerances. This repeatability is critical for precision reloading, as small changes in seating depth can affect pressure and accuracy.
Yes. The die handles full length body and shoulder sizing on one stroke, and the integrated micrometer seater handles bullet seating in a separate stroke, giving you a complete sizing and seating system in two die operations.
