Forster
The Forster Products 28 Nosler full length die set is built for reloaders who want to produce consistent, concentric ammunition without compromise. Whether you're preparing match-grade rounds for a precision rifle or loading hunting ammunition that performs when it counts, this two-die set delivers the accuracy and repeatability that serious shooters expect from Forster's bench rest tooling. The 28 Nosler is a modern magnum cartridge that rewards careful handloading, and Forster's proven design makes it straightforward to do it right.
Each die in this set is machined from high-quality steel to tight tolerances, then hand-polished before and after heat treatment to ensure smooth operation and a durable finish that resists wear over thousands of rounds. The standout feature is Forster's exclusive E-Z case neck expander system, which comes standard on the full length sizer die—this design reduces runout and improves case neck control compared to conventional expanders. The included seating die follows Forster's bench rest standard, giving you the precision needed for repeatable seating depth and bullet runout.
Like all Forster full length die sets, this one uses Forster's distinctive cross bolt die locking ring. Instead of tightening a screw directly into the die's threads, the cross bolt system cinches both ends of the split ring, protecting the die from thread damage and allowing you to lock in your setup with confidence. This two-die configuration—full length sizer and seater—is the foundational setup most hunters and target shooters rely on for everyday reloading, whether you're working up loads once a season or cycling through brass regularly at the bench.
If you're loading for a bolt action target rifle and need to reduce headspace further, Forster also makes National Match dies that cut headspace by an additional .003" for maximum precision—though that's a specialized tool for dedicated competition shooters. For 28 Nosler hunting and field loads, this standard set is exactly what you need.

Yes. The two-die full length set is the standard configuration used by most hunters and field shooters for reliable, repeatable ammunition. It includes everything you need to resize, expand the neck, and seat bullets for hunting applications in the 28 Nosler.
Forster's E-Z expander is an exclusive design built into the full length sizing die that improves case neck control and reduces runout compared to traditional expanders. This helps produce more concentric ammunition with less variation from round to round.
This is an excellent die set for target and long-range shooting. If you're loading for a bolt action target rifle and want to reduce headspace even further than a standard full length die, Forster also offers their National Match dies, which cut headspace by an additional .003"—but this standard set will produce the accuracy most shooters need.
The set includes a full length sizing die with the E-Z case neck expander system and a bench rest seating die. You will need a reloading press, shell holder, and other standard reloading supplies to use the dies.
