Forster
The Forster Products 224 Valkyrie Bench Rest Seater Die is purpose-built for precision reloaders who demand concentricity and consistency shot after shot. Unlike standard seating dies that can introduce bullet runout, the Forster design uses a close-fitting chamber that cradles the case, bullet, and seating stem in one unified alignment system. This three-point support eliminates the angular starts that plague conventional fixed-chamber dies, letting you produce remarkably straight ammunition critical for 224 Valkyrie accuracy.
Forster manufactures each die from premium steel machined to exacting tolerances, then hand-polishes the surfaces before and after heat treatment for a finish that moves smoothly and lasts. The signature Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring tightens both ends of the split ring evenly instead of threading a set screw into the die itself—a design that holds zero tighter and won't strip out over years of heavy loading sessions.
If you're serious about 224 Valkyrie competition loads, precision hunting ammunition, or just refuse to accept mediocre runout, this seater die delivers the mechanical advantage to achieve it. Pair it with a quality press and your other Forster bench rest dies for a reloading setup that rivals commercial match ammunition.

Forster's design uses a close-fitting chamber that supports the case, bullet, and seating stem simultaneously. This three-point alignment prevents the bullet from entering the case neck at an angle, which standard fixed-chamber dies can allow. The result is measurably lower bullet runout and more consistent ammunition.
Instead of a traditional set screw that threads into the die itself, Forster's Cross Bolt ring tightens both ends of the split ring evenly. This approach distributes clamping force more uniformly, holds your die position more securely, and won't strip out the die's threads with repeated use.
Yes. The Forster Bench Rest Seater Die was engineered for precision shooting where concentricity matters. It's an excellent choice for long-range hunting, benchrest competition, and any application where ammunition runout directly impacts accuracy.
