The Forster Products 0.323" Hand Held Neck Turner Pilot is a precision component designed for reloaders serious about case prep consistency. This pilot is the sized-specific adapter that works with Forster's hand-held neck turning tool, engineered to fit case mouths with a 0.323" inside diameter. If you're chasing tighter ammunition tolerances and more reliable bullet-to-bore alignment, a quality neck turning pilot is the tool that gets you there—and this one is ground to exacting tolerances so your cases feed smoothly through the turner without binding or play.

Neck turning is one of the most effective ways to improve cartridge-to-cartridge consistency. Uneven case neck wall thickness can cause bullets to sit at slightly different angles in the bore, which compounds downrange. The Forster hand-held neck turner removes excess brass precisely; this pilot locates the case mouth concentrically in the tool's carbide cutter so material removal is uniform all the way around. The result is cases with consistent neck dimensions, which translates to tighter groups, especially at distance.

This is a pilot only—it pairs with the Forster hand-held neck turning tool and its aluminum case holder (which accommodates cases up to 0.592" base diameter; a larger holder is sold separately for magnum and other big cases). The pilot is precision-ground 0.002" to 0.0025" smaller than bullet diameter, so it fits snugly but doesn't force or damage case necks. If your reloading setup is built around precision rifle ammunition, case preparation gear like this separates casual handloaders from serious competitors and hunters who demand consistency.
