Forster
The Forster Bushing Full Length Sizing Die for 6 GT is a precision reloading die built for handloaders who want to control exactly how much neck tension their brass experiences during the sizing process. Unlike standard full length sizing dies that apply uniform pressure across the neck, this die lets you dial in the amount of working the brass receives, which means less work-hardening of your cases and longer case life downrange. It's the kind of tool serious 6 GT reloaders turn to when they're chasing tighter groups and want to minimize unnecessary brass degradation.
The bushing system works by sizing your case body and bumping the shoulder back to spec—just enough to fit reliably in a SAAMI-minimum rifle chamber—while the interchangeable bushing controls how much the neck gets reduced. This two-step approach gives you the precision of custom neck-sizing dies with the full-length sizing coverage you need for hunting or long-range use. Because the neck experiences less working stress, you get more life out of each piece of brass without sacrificing the fit and accuracy that proper sizing delivers.
Forster sizing dies are known for their attention to detail and reliable performance, and this bushing die is no exception. If you're already invested in 6 GT brass and want to reload it efficiently while keeping cases in service longer, this die gives you the control to make that happen.
The bushing system lets you control how much the neck gets worked during sizing. A standard die applies the same pressure across the neck every time; the bushing die lets you choose a specific bushing size that determines neck tension, reducing unnecessary work-hardening and extending case life.
Yes, this die is designed specifically for full length sizing of 6 GT cartridge brass. It sizes the body and shoulder to SAAMI specifications while the bushing controls neck tension.
The die comes as described in the product listing. For specific information about which bushings are included or available separately, contact us directly.
Yes. Full length sizing with controlled neck tension is appropriate for hunting ammunition, providing the proper fit and reliability needed in a rifle chamber while preserving brass longevity.
