Forster
The Forster Bushing Bump Kit for 6.5 CM-neck sizing gives handloaders precision control over case neck fit—a critical step for tight group accuracy. This kit pairs a dedicated neck-sizing die with three bushings (.292, .290, and .288) so you can dial in the exact clearance your rifle prefers. Unlike full-length sizing, neck sizing preserves case dimensions and extends brass life, making it ideal for match-grade reloading and long-range hunting where consistency matters.
Forster's bushing system is straightforward: the three included bushings let you find the sweet spot between shell-holder contact and minimal neck tension. Load a test round with each bushing, shoot them over a chronograph or into a group, and you'll quickly identify which produces the best velocity spread and accuracy. This trial-and-error approach takes minutes and often yields tighter groups than guessing.
If you're running 6.5 Creedmoor and working toward sub-half-MOA groups or preparing brass for a match, this kit removes the guesswork from neck sizing. It's the kind of detail-oriented tool that separates consistent reloaders from those who just go through the motions.
| Brand | Forster |
| Caliber | 6.5 Creedmoor (6.5 CM) |
| Die Type | Neck-Sizing Die |
| Included Bushings | .292, .290, .288 |
A bushing die sizes only the neck of the case rather than the entire cartridge. The bushing compresses the case neck to a specific diameter, while the rest of the case body retains its fired dimensions. This preserves case life and often improves velocity consistency.
The three bushings allow you to test different neck tensions and find which produces the best accuracy in your rifle. You'll likely end up favoring one or two, but having the options means you can experiment without buying additional kits.
The kit includes one 6.5 CM neck-sizing die and three bushings (.292, .290, and .288). You'll need to provide your own reloading press and shell holder compatible with your setup.
