The Forster Bench Rest Full Length Die Set for .280 Ackley is a precision reloading die set built for shooters who demand consistency and quality in every round they load. Forster's reputation for exacting manufacturing standards is on full display here: each die is machined from premium steel to tight tolerances, then hand polished before and after heat treatment to ensure a superior finish and reliable performance. This full length two-die set pairs a full length sizing die with Forster's Bench Rest seater die, giving you the core tools needed to reload .280 Ackley brass for hunting, target work, or both.

Full length sizing is the go-to choice for hunters and general reloaders because it brings your brass back to factory dimensions, making loaded rounds compatible with any rifle chambered in .280 Ackley. That universality matters if you're loading for multiple guns or sharing ammo with hunting partners. The sizing die in this set features Forster's exclusive E-Z case neck expander system, which helps you expand the neck uniformly and reduces case runout—a real advantage if you're trying to tighten groups or simply want reliable function without chasing precision indefinitely.

A distinctive feature of all Forster dies is the Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring, which tightens the two halves of the split ring together rather than cranking down a screw directly into the die threads. This design protects your die from the wear and potential damage that comes with repeated screw-based locking, and it's one reason Forster dies hold up so well over thousands of rounds. If you're starting out in reloading or returning to it after years away, a full length two-die set like this is exactly what you need to get going. And if you're already seasoned, Forster's quality and attention to detail will feel familiar and reliable.
