Firefield
The Firefield Edge 12" Keymod handguard gives your AR-15 a lightweight, modular rail system without the bulk or expense of premium alternatives. Built from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black matte finish, this mid-length handguard strikes a practical balance between sight radius and maneuverability for shooters who want room to mount optics, lights, and accessories without overcomplicating their setup. Whether you're running a hunting rifle, a range gun, or a tactical build, the Keymod interface lets you attach gear exactly where you need it—and remove or reposition it just as easily.
At 12 inches, this handguard works well on modern AR-15 platforms where you want a shorter profile than a full rifle-length rail but more real estate than a carbine-length tube. The 6061-T6 aluminum construction balances durability with weight savings, and the black matte finish resists glare and blends with most AR furniture. Keymod, while less common than M-LOK today, remains a solid attachment standard with plenty of compatible accessories still available in the market.
Installation pairs with a standard AR-15 upper receiver, and the handguard is ready to customize. This is a no-frills upgrade for shooters who want functional modularity and don't need to pay premium prices for it.

The Firefield Edge handguard is designed for standard AR-15 uppers with mil-spec dimensions. Verify your upper receiver can accept this rail system before ordering.
Keymod is an industry-standard mounting interface. Many manufacturers produce lights, foregrips, rail sections, and other tactical accessories with Keymod attachment points. You'll find a good selection available, though M-LOK has become more prevalent in recent years.
The handguard accepts Keymod-compatible accessories only. If your existing gear uses a different mounting system (M-LOK, Picatinny, etc.), you'll need adapters or Keymod-specific replacements.
At 12 inches, this mid-length rail offers more accessory space than a carbine-length handguard but remains shorter and lighter than rifle-length or longer options. It's a practical middle ground for most shooting applications.
