Federal
Federal Champion Training BYOB .22 LR ammunition gives you 1,375 rounds of reliable rimfire in a smart bulk package designed for high-volume shooting. Two cases of 36-grain copper-plated hollow point rounds stack easily, store compactly, and ship efficiently—perfect for shooters who log serious time at the range or in the field without breaking the bank. Whether you're running a .22 rifle through precision drills, zeroing a plinker, or stocking up for a season of small-game hunting, this is the kind of ammo you buy by the case and use without hesitation.
The BYOB (Bring Your Own Bucket) concept isn't just marketing—it's practical. Each bulk pack ships with a removable lid that lets you either seal it up for storage or leave it off for quick, easy pouring straight into a magazine loader or cartridge counter. For shooters who move through volume, that convenience adds up fast. Federal's Champion Training line balances cost-per-round economics with the consistent ignition and reliable expansion you expect from a name brand, so you can focus on shooting rather than worrying about failures.
At 36 grains and 1,260 feet per second, these hollow points deliver modest but adequate velocity and energy for target work and light hunting applications. The ballistic coefficient of .125 keeps trajectories predictable at typical rimfire distances. Two cases means you're set up for extended range sessions or a full season's worth of practice—the kind of commitment that separates serious shooters from casual plinkers.
| Caliber | .22 LR |
| Bullet Weight | 36 grains |
| Bullet Type | Copper-Plated Hollow Point (CPHP) |
| Muzzle Velocity | 1,260 fps |
| Ballistic Coefficient | .125 |
| Round Count | 1,375 rounds (2 cases) |
These are built for high-volume target shooting and training. The 36-grain hollow point also works for small-game hunting, but the real value is in the cost-per-round when you're burning through cases at the range.
Yes. The removable lids let you seal the packs closed for long-term storage, or keep them accessible for pouring. They stack efficiently, so two cases don't take up much space.
Any standard .22 LR rifle, pistol, or revolver. Federal Champion Training .22 LR is universal rimfire ammunition.
1,375 total rounds shipped as two bulk cases, giving you serious volume for range days, training, or the hunting season.
