Federal
Federal Top Gun 20 gauge 2.75" #9 shotgun shells are built for shooters who spend volume behind the clay targets. Whether you're running leagues at your local trap or skeet range or simply want reliable, affordable shells for weekend practice, Top Gun delivers the consistency that keeps you focused on your shooting, not your budget. The #9 shot size cuts clean patterns through the air, and the 2.75" casing is the standard length for most 20 gauge shotguns. A box of 25 rounds lets you load up without the bulk of larger packages, and the 250-round case option means serious competitors and high-volume shooters can stock up and get to the range ready to go.
Top Gun has earned its reputation in the target shooting world because Federal built these shells to handle shot after shot without excuses. You get the same powder and primer quality Federal is known for, scaled for the efficiency and recoil profile of a 20 gauge. This isn't premium hunting ammunition—it's purpose-built for clay targets, where consistency matters more than premium pricing, and where you want ammunition that goes bang every time and lets you work on your fundamentals.
If you shoot trap, skeet, or five-stand regularly, or if you're introducing someone to shotgun sports on a tighter budget, Federal Top Gun 20 gauge #9 shot is a reliable, no-nonsense choice. Stock a case and you'll have ammo ready for a full season of practice.

Top Gun 2.75" shells work in any 20 gauge shotgun rated for 2.75" ammunition. Check your shotgun's barrel or owner's manual to confirm it accepts 2.75" loads; some 20 gauge shotguns are marked for 3" shells only. When in doubt, measure the length marking on your barrel.
#9 is a small shot size ideal for clay targets at typical shooting distances. It creates a dense pattern that cleanly breaks clays without excessive pellet count. Larger shot sizes like #8 or #7.5 are better for longer-range clays or hunting, while #9 is the standard for trap and skeet leagues.
Yes. Federal Top Gun is sold in boxes of 25 rounds, and a case contains 250 rounds (10 boxes). The case option is ideal if you're a regular range shooter or running a high-volume practice schedule.
Top Gun shells are designed and priced for target shooting. For hunting upland game or waterfowl, you'll want to consult your local regulations and consider ammunition specifically loaded for hunting applications with appropriate shot sizes and velocity profiles.
