Faxon Firearms
The Faxon Firearms 9mm 16" 1-10 twist taper contour barrel with integral flash hider brings real utility to your AR-15 pistol caliber build. If you're running a 9mm upper and want a compact, maneuverable platform without sacrificing velocity or the ability to swap muzzle devices later, this barrel delivers. The integral flash hider comes installed, but unlike permanently pinned-and-welded setups, you're not locked into one configuration—you can remove it and reconfigure as your needs change. That's a practical advantage for shooters who like flexibility without a gunsmith visit.
Built with a pistol-caliber taper contour, this barrel keeps weight down while maintaining the stiffness you need for reliable feeding and accuracy. The 1:10 twist rate is engineered for 9mm SAMMI ammunition. Faxon's nitride finish protects against corrosion and wear, and the Colt and Glock compatible feed ramps ensure reliable chambering with the widest range of 9mm uppers on the market. Whether you're building a home-defense setup, a range gun, or an ultracompact hunting or sporting rifle, this barrel's geometry and feature set make it a solid foundation.
At 16 inches, you're getting a practical balance between handiness and sight radius. Pair it with your choice of lower receiver and upper components, and you've got a capable, configurable platform without the permanence of a welded muzzle brake or flash suppressor.
