The FailZero AR9 9mm bolt carrier group is a purpose-built, direct-blowback BCG engineered specifically for 9mm AR platform rifles and pistols. If you're running a 9mm AR or AR pistol—whether for plinking, home defense, or competition—this nitride-finished carrier delivers the reliability and durability expected from FailZero's reputation in the AR parts space. The black nitride finish resists corrosion and wear, giving you a BCG that handles both range sessions and storage without fuss.

Direct-blowback 9mm uppers require a carrier that matches their action and spring dynamics, and FailZero engineered this one with that specific platform in mind. The result is a bolt carrier group that feeds, fires, and cycles consistently—essential when you're counting on your AR9 to run suppressed or unsuppressed, hot or cold. Whether you're building a new 9mm upper from scratch or upgrading an existing one, this BCG is the kind of part that rewards you by simply doing its job reliably, visit after visit to the range.

FailZero's black nitride finishing process adds a tough, low-friction surface that shrugs off carbon buildup and corrosion. That means easier cleaning, longer intervals between maintenance, and a BCG that stays looking sharp. For shooters who demand parts that work without drama, this is the kind of no-nonsense carrier that earns a permanent spot in your build.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this BCG work in my 9mm AR upper?

Yes—this FailZero carrier is designed for direct-blowback 9mm AR platforms. Confirm your upper is chambered in 9mm and uses direct-blowback operation (not piston-driven), and this BCG will cycle reliably.

What's the benefit of the black nitride finish?

Black nitride resists corrosion, reduces friction during operation, and makes the carrier easier to clean. It also holds up better to carbon and residue buildup than bare steel.

Can I use this in a suppressed 9mm AR?

This BCG is compatible with 9mm AR platforms, whether you run a suppressor or not. Your upper's gas system (if any) and spring setup should be matched to your shooting conditions.
