The EZ-Aim Hardrock 6" AR500 steel gong shooting target brings durability and instant feedback to your range sessions, whether you're zeroing rifles, drilling handgun fundamentals, or running precision drills for your next hunt. Built from half-inch-thick AR500 armorplate steel, this gong target handles the punishment of centerfire rifle rounds and high-volume pistol practice without cratering or spalling—something cheaper steel simply can't do. The white powdercoat finish catches bullet strikes cleanly, so you see every hit from downrange without walking up for inspection.
What sets the Hardrock apart is versatility in mounting. Three connection points—two at the perimeter for chain or strap hanging, plus a center mounting hole for a gong hook—let you customize your setup whether you're building a portable range kit or a permanent bay. At 6 inches in diameter, it's sized for serious accuracy work at distance or fast-paced reactive shooting at closer range. The steel takes the work out of target replacement; unlike paper or reactive splatter targets, a gong rings true for thousands of rounds.
This target is part of the broader EZ-Aim Custom Target Systems ecosystem, designed so you can mix components—paper, rimfire steel, AR500 gongs—into one cohesive range without buying multiple incompatible setups. You invest in the system once, then expand as your training evolves, whether you're setting up for a hunting season, tuning a new rifle, or just putting rounds downrange on a Saturday afternoon.
