EGW
The EGW CZ 452, 453, 455, 511 3/8" dovetail scope base brings modern Picatinny rail flexibility to classic CZ rimfire and centerfire rifles without any gunsmithing. If you own one of these CZ models and want to upgrade from factory iron sights or swap optics without the hassle of drilling and tapping, this one-piece aluminum mount bolts directly to your rifle's existing receiver holes—no permanent modifications needed.
Built from 7075 T6 extruded aluminum, this scope base is precision-machined to MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny specifications (±.002") and accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-compatible scope rings. The 0 MOA (zero angle) design means your optic sits at the factory sight plane relative to the bore—ideal for shooters who prefer a neutral platform and want to adjust eye relief by sliding rings along the rail rather than dealing with fixed mounting angles. The heavy-duty profile is engineered .100" lower than lightweight variants, minimizing overall height to keep your scope closer to the barrel centerline for cleaner sight lines and tighter accuracy without excessive comb clearance.
Installation is straightforward: the base drills and taps to your CZ's factory scope mount holes. EGW includes socket head Torx screws and a wrench for assembly. The company recommends securing the base with 20 inch-pounds of torque and a small dab of blue threadlocker to ensure zero shift during shooting. This is the kind of upgrade that turns a versatile rimfire or light rifle into a capable modern platform—whether you're setting up a .22 LR plinker, a precision CZ 455, or a centerfire 511.

0 MOA (zero angle) means the rail sits flat at the factory sight plane relative to the bore—no built-in upward or downward angle. You adjust elevation and windage entirely through your scope's turrets and ring placement, which is preferred by many shooters who want a neutral platform and maximum flexibility.
