EGW
The EGW CVA Inline/Acura Muzzleloader 0 MOA scope base is a one-piece Picatinny rail system designed to mount optics on CVA inline and Acura muzzleloaders without drilling or tapping the receiver. If you shoot a modern inline muzzleloader and want a solid, adjustable platform for a rifle scope, this base gives you the mounting flexibility of an AR-style rail system while working directly with your gun's factory holes.
Built from 6061 T6 aluminum, the base is precision-machined with full-width Picatinny slots gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specifications (±.002"). That level of tolerance means scope rings—whether Picatinny or Weaver style—will sit consistently and securely, shot after shot. The one-piece design eliminates the play and shifting that can come from split bases, and the Picatinny rail lets you slide your rings forward or back to dial in eye relief exactly where you need it. Want to swap optics? The standardized rail accepts any compatible ring set, giving you real flexibility in your scope choices without remounting hardware.
Weight matters on a muzzleloader you're carrying through the field. EGW machined a center channel through the base to shed unnecessary ounces while keeping the aluminum rigid where it counts—under load and during recoil. The kit includes socket head Torx screws and the wrench you need to install it. EGW recommends 20 inch-pounds of torque and a small amount of blue Loctite to keep everything locked in place through the season.
