The Echo Calls 77784 Trash Talker is a double reed mallard call built for serious duck hunters who want authentic, aggressive mallard vocalizations without overcomplicating their setup. Built from durable brown polycarbonate, this call produces the contentious quacking and chatter that brings mallards in when they're hanging up or working the edges of your spread. Whether you're hunting from a blind, a boat, or wading shallow water, the Trash Talker delivers the raspy, combative sounds that trigger competitive responses from both drakes and hens.
Double reed calls give you control over volume and tone that single reeds simply can't match—you can dial in everything from soft conversational quacks to loud, aggressive comeback calls. The polycarbonate construction keeps the call lightweight and responsive while standing up to the salt spray, temperature swings, and mud that come with waterfowl hunting. A brown finish helps it blend naturally in your blind or hand.
If you hunt mallards seriously and want a call that handles the "trash talk" moments when birds need convincing, the Echo Calls Trash Talker belongs in your call bag. It's the kind of tool that separates days when ducks work your decoys from days when they don't.
| Call Type | Double Reed Mallard Call |
| Material | Brown Polycarbonate |
| Brand | Echo Calls (Mo Tactical Products LLC) |
| Model | 77784 Trash Talker |
The double reed design gives you the ability to produce aggressive quacking, chatter, and contentious vocalizations that mimic competitive mallard behavior—the sounds that bring birds in when they're working your spread.
Double reed calls offer more control and tonal range than single reeds, making them a great choice for hunters who want flexibility in their calling. Success depends more on practice and hunting conditions than on call type.
The call is built from brown polycarbonate, a durable plastic that resists weathering, temperature changes, and the moisture exposure typical in duck hunting environments.
