Eagle Claw
The Eagle Claw Swivel-Brass Barrel Size 7 is a reliable workhorse for anglers building terminal rigs in fresh and saltwater environments. Built from solid copper and stainless steel, these compact barrel swivels are engineered to handle the twisting forces that naturally occur during retrieves and when working live bait or lures. The smooth rotation helps prevent line twist—one of the most frustrating problems in fishing—so you can focus on fishing rather than fighting tangles.
At size 7, these swivels strike a practical balance: small enough for lighter presentations and finesse work, yet robust enough for general-purpose rigging. Whether you're tying on leaders, connecting mainline to backing, or building multi-piece rigs, this 12-pack gives you a solid supply without breaking the bank. The solid construction and corrosion-resistant materials mean they'll hold up through seasons of saltwater exposure or repeated freshwater use.
Anglers reach for barrel swivels when they need a no-fuss connection point that moves freely. These work equally well in basic two-piece rigs or more complex setups, making them a sensible addition to any tackle box. The stainless steel components resist rust and degradation, so they perform reliably whether you're chasing bass in a lake, walleye in a reservoir, or saltwater species from the coast.
| Brand | Eagle Claw |
| Type | Barrel Swivel |
| Size | 7 |
| Quantity | 12 pack |
| Materials | Solid copper and stainless steel |
| Application | Freshwater and saltwater fishing |
Yes. The stainless steel and solid copper construction resists corrosion, making them suitable for saltwater rigging as well as freshwater applications.
Size 7 barrel swivels are versatile for light to moderate presentations. They work well in general-purpose rigs and leader connections across both freshwater and saltwater scenarios, though application always depends on your specific target species and line weight.
This is a 12-pack, giving you a practical supply for regular rig building and tackle maintenance.
The free-rotating barrel design is engineered to minimize line twist during retrieves and while working live bait or lures, though no swivel eliminates twist entirely—proper technique and equipment matching also play a role.
