Eagle Claw
The Eagle Claw Swivel-Black Barrel Size 1 is a reliable, no-frills connector for anglers building fresh and saltwater terminal rigs. A barrel swivel spins freely under load, twisting to prevent line twist and kinks that kill your presentation and weaken knots. These size 1 swivels come in a carton of 12 packs with 12 swivels per pack—enough to rig for a season or stock your tackle bench for trips with friends.
Black barrel swivels are a practical choice for clear and moderately stained water where a more visible connector won't spook fish as readily as shiny brass. The compact size 1 rating makes them suited to light to medium spinning and baitcasting setups, from panfish to inshore saltwater work. Whether you're tying droppers, connecting leader to main line, or rigging live-bait or soft-plastic presentations, a quality swivel is a small investment in cleaner, longer-lasting rigs.
Eagle Claw has been a staple in American tackle boxes for generations. These swivels deliver honest performance without pretense—they do the job anglers expect, at a price that makes stocking up practical.
| Brand | Eagle Claw |
| Product Type | Barrel Swivel |
| Size | #1 |
| Finish | Black |
| Packaging | 12 packs × 12 swivels per pack (carton) |
Size 1 swivels work well with light to medium spinning and baitcasting outfits. They're well-suited for panfish, light inshore saltwater, and freshwater scenarios where you're not wrestling heavy cover or large fish.
A black barrel swivel is less visible to fish in clear water and moderately stained conditions, reducing the chances of spooking wary fish that may be put off by shiny hardware in their face.
Use a standard improved clinch knot or Palomar knot on each end of the swivel eyelet. Make sure knots are snug and test the connection before casting. The swivel's job is to rotate freely; your knots keep it in place.
This carton contains 12 individual packs, each holding 12 size 1 black barrel swivels, for a total of 144 swivels. It's a bulk, resale-friendly format for tackle shops or anglers who want a year-round supply.
