Eagle Claw
Eagle Claw Split Rings in nickel finish are a foundational terminal tackle component for anglers building leaders, rigs, and lure connections. These Size 3 split rings come in a 10-count pack—enough for a solid fishing session or to keep in your tackle box as a reliable backup. Nickel plating offers corrosion resistance in freshwater and light saltwater conditions, making them a practical choice for bass, pike, walleye, and other freshwater species where you need a simple, proven way to attach hooks, swivels, or lures to your line or leader.
Split rings are engineered to stay secure under load—that twisted, overlapping design grips better than a simple loop knot and distributes stress more evenly than a direct tie. They're especially useful when you're rigging multiple offerings (like when trolling or running a tandem-hook setup) or when you want to swap lures quickly without retying. Size 3 is a mid-range option suited to light to moderate applications where you need a balance between strength and minimal bulk.
Whether you're a weekend panfish angler, a pike hunter, or someone who ties their own rigs, having a pack of quality split rings on hand saves time and frustration. Eagle Claw's straightforward engineering and affordable pricing make this a staple in thousands of tackle boxes across North America.

Size 3 split rings are versatile for light to moderate freshwater fishing—panfish, bass, walleye, pike, and trout. They're sized to handle standard rigging without adding unnecessary bulk, making them ideal for live-bait rigs, lure attachments, and swivel connections where you want secure holding without overkill.
Nickel plating provides decent corrosion resistance in freshwater and light saltwater use. For heavy saltwater or extended immersion, stainless steel split rings are a better long-term choice. Check your local water conditions and expected soak time to decide.
Open the split ring slightly by twisting the two loops apart, thread it through the eye of your hook or lure, then twist it back closed. The overlapping design grips securely and allows you to attach or change terminal tackle without cutting your line or re-tying knots.
