Do-It Products
The Do-It Egg Sinker Mold 2oz 3cavity is a lead-pouring tool designed for anglers who want to cast their own slip sinkers at home. This three-cavity mold lets you produce multiple egg sinkers in a single pour session, so you can build inventory for your preferred rigs without the per-unit cost of buying premade sinkers retail. If you fish live bait or soft plastics where a free-sliding weight keeps your presentation natural and reduces detection, this mold gives you control over the exact weight and finish of your terminal tackle.
Egg sinkers work by allowing your line to slip through them freely—the fish feels your bait, not the weight. That design prevents the sinker from telegraphing the strike to wary fish and keeps the weight from interfering with your hook-setting speed or your fish's ability to run. Whether you're working Carolina rigs, drop-shot setups, or live-bait presentations in freshwater or light saltwater, having a mold means you're never short on the right weight when you need it.
The mold ships with one pull pin; replacements are available separately if you want extras on hand. Lead pouring is straightforward—just heat your lead, pour into the cavities, let it cool, and pop out your sinkers. For anglers who fish regularly and go through sinkers, making your own becomes economical fast.
