Do-It Products
The Do-It Bank Sinker Mold is a 4-cavity mold designed for anglers who want to cast their own 3oz bank sinkers at home. Whether you're a freshwater or saltwater fisher looking to build inventory without the markup of store-bought weights, this mold lets you pour lead in batches and dial in exactly the sinker style and weight your rig calls for. Bank sinkers are a workhorse in both disciplines—they hold bottom in current, work well on sloping banks, and suit a range of presentations from simple split-shot rigs to more sophisticated multi-drop setups.
DIY sinker casting saves money over time, especially if you fish regularly or target species that demand specific weights for different conditions. The 4-cavity design means you can produce multiple sinkers per pour, getting you back on the water faster than buying them one box at a time. Do-It has been the standard for home lure and sinker casting for decades, and their molds are built to take the heat cycle after cycle.
If you're new to lead pouring, you'll need a heat source (a ladle over a camp stove works), a lead source, and basic safety precautions—ventilation and gloves are non-negotiable. Experienced casters will appreciate the efficiency of a dedicated 4-cavity mold versus smaller or single-cavity options.
| Sinker Weight | 3oz |
| Cavity Count | 4 |
| Sinker Type | Bank |
| Brand | Do-It Products |
Yes. Bank sinkers cast from this mold work equally well in freshwater and saltwater applications.
The 4-cavity design lets you cast four 3oz bank sinkers per pour session.
You'll need a lead source, a heat source (such as a ladle over a stove or furnace), and proper safety gear including ventilation and heat-resistant gloves. This mold itself is the casting tool; it does not include lead or heating equipment.
