Do-It Products
The Do-It Banana Spinner Jig is a custom lure mold designed for anglers who want to cast their own jigs with a distinctive banana-shaped profile. Available in 1/4 oz and 3/8 oz weights, this mold lets you build jigs tailored to your local fishery and presentation style. The forward-weighted design gives these jigs unique skimming characteristics that help them glide over shallow cover without constantly fouling on grass, logs, and rocks—a real advantage when you're working weedy shallows or rocky structure where standard jig heads are money-losers.
What sets the Banana Spinner apart is its weighted belly construction. That low, centered mass keeps the lure stable and balanced, especially when you pair it with plastic twisting tails or curl-tail trailers. The banana silhouette also offers a natural profile that triggers strikes in situations where rounder, blunter jig heads fall flat. If you're already pouring your own jigs or thinking about starting, this mold opens up a tool to experiment with shape and weight in ways pre-made heads simply can't match.
Do-It Products molds are a standard in the custom-lure community. Whether you're fine-tuning your presentation for tournament conditions, matching local forage, or just enjoying the craft of building your own terminal tackle, this mold delivers the geometry and heft to make quality, consistent jigs at home.

Yes. The forward center of weight and banana profile are specifically designed to allow the jig to skim over vegetation, rocks, and other shallow structure, reducing the entanglements you'd face with traditional round jig heads.
