The DNZ Game Reaper 1" scope mount for Remington 700 Long Action is a precision-engineered solution for shooters who demand a solid, repeatable optic platform. Built from billet aluminum machined from a solid block, this right-hand mount delivers the rigidity and accuracy alignment your rifle scope needs—whether you're hunting at distance or working a precision rifle. DNZ's manufacturing process minimizes seams in the casting, resulting in a mount that holds zero through recoil and temperature swings better than traditional steel options while keeping overall weight down.

This high-mount configuration clears most bolt handles and allows for lower cheek weld on your stock, making it a natural choice for shooters running longer-range hunting setups or ARs-style ergonomics on a bolt gun. The 1" ring diameter accommodates the vast majority of modern hunting and tactical scopes on the market. Right-hand orientation positions the rings and base for conventional right-handed operation.

DNZ built this mount to handle the temperature extremes and shock loads that come with real-world hunting—high country cold snaps, dusty ranch country, backcountry pack-outs. The billet aluminum construction absorbs impact better than steel while resisting corrosion, and the precision machining ensures your scope stays where you zero it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this mount fit my Remington 700?

Yes—this mount is designed specifically for the Remington 700 Long Action. If you're running a short action or a different Remington model (such as the 783, Model 7, 7400, 7600, 7615, 750, or Genesis), confirm your exact action length and model before ordering.

What does "high mount" mean, and do I need it?

A high mount positions your scope higher above the bore. This clears most standard bolt handles and gives you a lower, more natural cheek weld on the stock—especially useful for tactical-style or precision hunting setups. If you're not sure it suits your stock or shooting style, measure your current cheek weld height and bolt-handle clearance before committing.

Can I use this with a left-handed rifle?

No—this is a right-hand mount. If you're shooting left-handed, you'll need a left-hand-oriented mount.

What scope rings or bases do I need to buy separately?

This product is the base and ring assembly itself; no additional bases are required. Make sure your scope tube diameter is 1" to fit these rings.
