Diamondback
The Diamondback Sidekick .22LR/.22Mag revolver is a nimble, affordable workhorse for plinking, small-game hunting, and training—or simply having fun at the range without breaking the bank. Built on a zinc alloy frame with a 3-inch barrel and finished in striking midnight bronze Cerakote, the Sidekick delivers a compact profile (7.83 inches overall) that handles naturally in hand, while the birdshead polymer grip fits shooters of all sizes and sits comfortably whether you're shooting single or double action.
What sets the Sidekick apart is its convertible cylinder: swap between .22LR and .22 Magnum without tools or guesswork, giving you flexibility for different shooting applications or game. Chambered in both rounds, this revolver swallows everything from subsonic .22 LR rounds to spicier .22 Mag loads. The 9-round capacity is respectable for a .22, and the single-action trigger breaks at a crisp 2 pounds, while the double-action pull is tuned to a manageable 16 pounds. Sights are straightforward—a front blade and integral rear—keeping the gun light and point-able, though there's room to add optics or red-dot mounts if you want them.
At just 24.50 ounces, the Sidekick won't tax your holster or hunting pack. The 1:16 right-hand twist barrel handles standard .22 ammunition reliably, and the six-groove rifling promotes accuracy out to reasonable distances for a short-barrel revolver. Whether you're introducing someone to wheelguns, building a versatile plinker collection, or keeping a budget-friendly .22 in the truck, the Sidekick delivers honest function and style in a package that won't empty your wallet.
