Diamondback
The Diamondback Firearms DB15 5.56x45mm AR-15 rifle is a purpose-built platform for shooters who want a reliable, no-nonsense carbine without the frills or the premium price tag. This 16-inch rifle strikes a practical balance between maneuverability and velocity, making it equally at home on the range, in a defensive role, or as a hunting carbine for varmint and medium game. The DB15 arrives configured and ready to shoot, with quality components throughout that reflect Diamondback's reputation for honest engineering.
The heart of this rifle is a Diamondback 5.56 barrel with a 1:8 right-hand twist, set up in a mid-length gas system for smooth cycling and manageable recoil. The upper receiver is a forged 7075 T-6 aluminum A3 flattop—the flat-top design gives you mounting flexibility for optics and accessories. The lower is also 7075 T-6 forged aluminum with Diamondback's Diamond branding, paired with an enhanced skeletonized trigger guard for a modern aesthetic and reduced weight. A CMC 3.5-pound single-stage trigger breaks cleanly, supporting precision shooting without the stiffness of a heavy mil-spec trigger.
The 15-inch M-LOK handguard uses Diamondback's S-Rail anti-rotation design, so your accessories stay put. You get a Magpul MOE K2+ grip for control and a Magpul ACS-L stock that collapses to 34 inches for tight spaces or vehicle storage, then extends to 37.25 inches for a full cheek weld. The rifle ships with a Diamondback CNC muzzle brake (1/2 x 28 threaded) and a 30-round Gen 2 PMAG. Total weight is 6.95 pounds—light enough to carry all day, substantial enough to shoot predictably.
This is a rifle for people who shoot rather than collect—no iron sights, no rail covers, no surplus features. Add your own optic and you've got a versatile 5.56 platform that delivers honest value and proven reliability.
